In what will come across as a rather dramatic development, two Nigerians residing in the UK without proper documentation have been deported.
They were deported after returning from a trip to Nigeria.
A Nigerian legal practitioner based in the UK, who shared the story online, said the deportees had visited Nigeria, where they attended the wedding of their cousin.
He said shortly after arriving in the UK, they got turned back at the airport. The lawyer warned that Nigerians who are not ‘’correct'' and are uncertain with their employment status, should avoid leaving the UK now.
