There Is No Peace At Home When A Woman Is Emotionally, Financially Drained And Neglected By Her Husband - Nigerian Man Says

According to him, any man who wants to enjoy a happy and healthy marriage should create a safe place for his wife and treat her with love and respect.

Chidi Okoroafor, a Nigerian man, has stated that a family's happiness largely hinges on the emotional and mental well-being of the woman in the home.

Recalling the words of his father while growing up, the clinician said the happier a wife is with the marriage, the more content the family will be in general.

According to him, any man who wants to enjoy a happy and healthy marriage should create a safe place for his wife and treat her with love and respect.

"While growing up, my father would tell us that when the woman of the house is happy, the entire family will be happy. When you make her sad, it will come back to everyone in the family, one way or another,” he wrote.

He told us that a man cannot truly be happy when his wife is not, except those cosmetic and fleeting happiness found at beer parlours or with endless womanizing (which comes at a cost). He further said that even children absorb both happiness and sadness from their mother.

I noticed that with my mother, and the whole thing started making more sense to me when I got married and started having children.
Below is a deep truth that I saw somewhere posted anonymously in a group. It is a verifiable truth that every man who wants to enjoy a happy marriage should give serious thought.

"There is no peace at home when a woman is emotionally, mentally, and financially drained and neglected by her husband. Men settle where there is peace, but women create peace only when they are treated with love, respect, and care.

"You can't expect a woman to build a sanctuary when her spirit is tired, her heart is wounded, and her soul feels unseen. A peaceful home starts with how you treat the woman who holds it all together."
