She went on to compare past gestures of kindness with what she described as today’s indifference from men.
A young Nigerian woman has taken to social media to lament, saying men no longer show acts of kindness or concern for women.
She made the claim in a video posted on X.
The lady wondered how ladies are surviving, noting that back in the days, men willingly offer to take care of women.
“Things don spoil! Our men don spoil! How are our ladies surviving? Back in the 2go days, when you go to a restaurant to buy food, a man would meet you and pay for everything. Instead, they now wait for you outside,” she exclaimed.
“Back then, they will see a woman trekking and they will park to ask, ‘are you going my way?’ This does not happen again,” she added.
