This was confirmed by Sky Bet Championship club Middlesbrough after his loan deal.
Iheanacho joined Middlesbrough from Spanish club, Sevilla, on loan in January.
The 28-year-old moved to the Riverside Stadium in search of regular football after falling out of favour at Sevilla.
