He was stabbed to d3ath by suspected phone snatchers in Kano State.
The incident occurred near Gidan Sarki on Saturday evening, May 17, 2025.
It was gathered that the victim was reportedly in a commercial tricycle caught in heavy traffic when the assailants approached him in an attempt to snatch his phone.
The criminals stabbed him multiple times before fleeing the scene.
Jabir Lawan Abdullahi is said to have been a rising voice in Kano’s tech and educational circles.
His sudden death has sparked outrage across communities, with many calling for urgent government action against the rising wave of criminality, particularly phone snatching, plaguing the state.
