American singer, Miley Cyrus has revealed that she nearly quit music.
According to the star, she nearly ended her music career after rupturing her ovarian cyst during NYE 2023.
In a candid interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, the 32-year-old singer disclosed that she contemplated quitting music after the accident but was discouraged by Canadian film producer Lorne Michaels.
“He said to me, ‘Six months. Everybody has six months to feel sorry for themselves and then we start to rebuild’,” she recalled.
“He’s like, ‘you have no idea how many artists have sat in this chair and told me they were quitting music.
“Everyone does this, everyone has these traumatic experiences.”
