In a series of Instagram Story posts, Nina recounted a moment when a doctor told her that her son, Denzel, born prematurely, might not be able to walk.
He recommended therapy, but she boldly rejected the diagnosis.
“I looked him straight in the face and said, ‘My son will walk when it’s time.’”
And walk he did. According to Nina, Denzel started walking before he even turned one.
The ex-reality star went on to warn people not to blindly accept everything doctors say.
“A lot of doctors put you on medications that only lead to more complications… Stay woke.” she said
