Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has publicly apologized to Nigerian music star Davido after he confronted her in a private message over a false claim she made about him opening a restaurant.
In a post that quickly went viral, Davido didn’t mince words, angrily confronting Sarah in her DMs: “WTF is wrong with you? Delete that dumb ass sht. Which f**ing restaurant did I open? I didn’t open any restaurant. Please delete it now.”
Shocked by the outburst, Sarah took to Instagram to share the private exchange alongside a humble caption: “I’m sorry Davido ”
She followed it up with an official video apology, pouring her heart out and referring to Davido as “my King, one and only 001.”
In the clip, she said: “If you know me very well, you can tell that I’m a diehard fan of Davido and Chioma. I would never intentionally disrespect neither of them. I was misinformed by what Opeyemi posted about Davido gifting him food from his restaurant. I just jumped into conclusion.”
“I'm really sorry for getting on your nerves, to the point that you had to enter my DM to question me. I beg, please forgive me.”
She didn’t stop there. She said: “I am your number one fan. Nobody loves you more than I love you. I swear on God. In fact, they nearly brought down my page because I was defending you online.”
Sarah emphasized that her intentions came from a place of love and pleaded for forgiveness: “I beg, I’m really sorry. This is from a place of love. Please forgive me, OBO.”
