The Sangarin Dari, HRH Mr Emmanuel Omanji, a third-class traditional ruler in the Kokona Local Government Area of the state has been kidnapped.

Nansel said the Commissioner of Police, CP Shettima Jauro Mohammed, has mobilised the command’s anti-kidnapping unit, the military, and vigilantes to conduct a search and rescue operation aimed at rescuing the victim and arresting the perpetrators.
He further called on anyone with useful information that will assist the operation to volunteer the same and assured them of utmost confidentiality.
It was gathered that the Sangarin Dari was kidnapped at his residence on Wednesday night around 10pm by yet-to-be-identified gunmen.
