An elderly man has surprised members of his community by taking his own life as many have suggested he must have become frustrated by life.

An elderly man who must have been frustrated by life has committed suicide by hanging. The man's lifeless body was found dangling from a rope. The man killed himself in the early hours of the morning at at Kasuwan Katako, Gombe State. It is still not known what actually prompted him to kill himself.
The matter is now under police investigation.
