How Police Collaborated With Hunters To Gun Down Four Suspected Kidnappers In Delta

At the time of this report, the lifeless bodies of the suspects were still displayed at the Abraka Police Division.

In the early hours of Wednesday, police officers working alongside local hunters fatally shot four suspected kidnappers, believed to be Fulani herdsmen, in Abraka, located in Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State.

The police and the hunters also recovered one AK-47 rifle from the suspects, Daily Post reports..

At the time of this report, the lifeless bodies of the suspects were still displayed at the Abraka Police Division.

Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, is yet to comment on the development.

However, a human rights activist, Comrade Efemena Umukoro in a statement hailed the police and the local hunters for neutralizing the kidnappers.

According to him, the earlier kidnappers are brought to justice, the better for the people of Abraka and environs.
