At her unveiling as an ambassador for Africa Fashion Week Nigeria which will be marking its 3rd year in the Nigerian fashion scene in July, Yemi Alade has spoken out about her favourites.

Multi-award winning singer, Yemi Alade, who was recently appointed the brand ambassador for Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) and Africa Fashion Week Nigeria (AFWN), has spoken with Sunday Sun about her 'favourites' at her unveiling in the Ikoyi area of Lagos.

What’s your favourite colour?
I’m currently in love with a montage. It’s like yellow but not yellow. It’s like one thing they put inside hot dog that looks like yellow. Like burnt yellow a little. It’s nice on my skin.
Favourite food?
Edikang Ikong and wheat.
Favourite holiday spot?
I haven’t gone there yet, but at the moment, I would say Mombasa in Nairobi, Kenya.
Favourite weather?
Not too cold not too hot. Should be somewhere in the middle. Tepid.
Favourite spot?
Anywhere there is food, water and good music.
Favourite sports?
I don’t have a favourite sports anymore. I used to love basketball.
Favourite book?
It has to be the bible, anytime, any day.
Favourite quote?
“Anything worth doing at all is worth doing well.”
Favourite fashion accessory?
My sunshades. Sunshades. I don’t go anywhere without them.
Favourite designer?
I’m in love with Michael Costello, a foreign designer but in Nigeria, I like Iconic In Vanity.
