The renovated national facility was unveiled on Tuesday after the President commissioned it.
A sociopolitical activist, Aisha Yesufu has kicked against the renaming of the International Conference Centre in Abuja.
Recall that the facility was renamed after President Bola Tinubu yesterday.
This followed the renovation of ICC by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike.
It was thus renamed the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre.
Wike had explained that he decided to renovate the facility because it was an embarrassment to Nigeria before the international community.
The Minister accused the former handlers of the facility of mismanaging it, a situation he said would end, going further.
However, posting on X, in reaction, Yesufu wrote: “Tinubu has poverty mentality and abandonment issue.
This is not normal.”
