Obinna Levi Ajuonuma, the famous Nigerian DJ, who is popularly known as DJ Obi, has disclosed that he lost belief in marriage after losing love.

The celebrity DJ made the emotional confession while speaking on the Afropolitan podcast, where he got real about love, regret, and loneliness as a man who’s now 40.

According to him, his views on marriage have changed because of personal mistakes and bad choices he made when he was younger.

“I lost love, so I lost my belief in marriage,” he said.

DJ Obi admitted that he used to lie, shut people out emotionally, and didn’t pay attention to red flags — including a family pattern of men ending up with two women.

He also admitted that his lifestyle and career choices affected his relationships and family life.

“I like noise in my house 24/7, but I don’t get it. I can’t get the wake-up-and-run-into-the-room vibe,” he said, referring to his kids who now live with their mothers.

Despite being a Christian, he says he now believes more in partnership than marriage and is still praying about it.
