Diamond explained he didn’t want his relationship to overshadow his music career, saying fans sometimes mix up real life with entertainment.
Tanzanian superstar, Diamond Platnumz has opened up that he's married to singer Zuchu.
He made the revelation in a video shared online.
Speaking during an interview, he said:
“So the wedding, the real one, is coming. “This one was just for family. It was between us. Just a little something. Nobody knew anything.”
Diamond explained he didn’t want his relationship to overshadow his music career, saying fans sometimes mix up real life with entertainment.
“Back in the days, we didn’t want people to know. I didn’t want people to lose focus on my music and start focusing on my relationship,” he added.
He also addressed those who might question his performances with women despite being married.
“You can be married, but you can be committed. I’m an entertainer. If I’m doing a show or shooting with a lady, it’s work. Don’t start asking, ‘What about your wife?’ I’m working here."
