A woman has confessed in a court in Orile, Lagos state that she denied her husband sex for 18 years because he became irresponsible.
An Orile Customary Court was thrown into bewilderment when a 45-year-old woman confessed to having starved her husband of sex for 18 years.
45-year-old woman said her action was predicated on her husband's refusal to financially care for her and their children. She also accused the man of verbal and physical abuse, as well as harsh demands for sex.
She told the court, “I decided to punish my husband with no sex-weapon, because he was no longer caring for me. He beats me up whenever I ask for the children’s school fees and feeding allowance.
He abuses my family whenever we have disagreements. He also demands for sex when he does not care if I have eaten or not. So, I do not allow him to touch me anymore.”
She filed for divorce in court and her husband who happens to be a pastor denied the allegations his wife levelled against him. He described his wife as a well known street fighter whose regular fracas with people caused the landlord to eject them from their house.
