Catholic faithful across Benue State held a solemn prayer procession on Thursday, seeking divine intervention for the restoration of lasting peace in the region.

The peaceful procession, which is ongoing, saw large turnouts from various parishes as clergy, religious groups, and lay members walked through streets, holding placards and chanting hymns.

Participants expressed deep concern over the growing insecurity and urged unity, healing, and a return to justice and peace in the state.
