EFCC Arrests Seven Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Abuja

According to the anti-graft agency, items recovered from the suspects include eight luxury vehicles, premium laptops, and mobile phones.

 
Seven suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
 
They were arrested for alleged engagement in internet fraud in Abuja.
 
The suspects were picked up on Thursday, June 19, during coordinated operations in the Lifecamp and Kubwa areas of the Federal Capital Territory, following actionable intelligence linking them to online scams.
 
According to the anti-graft agency, items recovered from the suspects include eight luxury vehicles, premium laptops, and mobile phones.
 
The EFCC said the suspects will be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of ongoing investigations.
