Lady Narrates How Her Sister Was Kidnapped At Obalende

According to her, the kidnappers gained access to her sister’s phone and began calling everyone on her contact list to solicit the ransom.

A Nigerian woman has shared a troubling account of her sister’s abduction in Lagos on the evening of June 20, sparking widespread fear and concern on social media.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the user identified as @TeemarsBeauty revealed that her sister was abducted from Obalende by unknown individuals who later demanded a ransom of ₦2 million.

According to her, the kidnappers gained access to her sister’s phone and began calling everyone on her contact list to solicit the ransom.

After the full amount was raised, they released the victim around 3 a.m. at Iyanaworo, a location in Lagos.

Her post read: “My sister was kidnapped yesterday evening and they demanded 2 million Naira.

"They took her from Obalende and called everyone on her phone, asking for money until the ransom was complete.

"They dropped her at Iyanaworo around 3 a.m. Last night was hell. Y’all stay safe.”
