A new video has surfaced showing the moment Peter Obi accessed the damage at his brother's destroyed Lagos property.
He lamented that the country is finished due to the level of lawlessness.
In the video, the Labour Party's presidential candidate for the general election of 2023 criticized the state government's decision to demolish the property in question without giving any advance notice.
He said that prior to the property being destroyed, his brother was not even permitted to remove a pin from it. He stated that the property has been owned by his brother for more than a decade.
As they toured the destroyed property, a distressed Obi said;
’Nobody could remove anything. Is that how a country works? They just came suddenly and started demolition. If my brother didn't have a brother like me, they wouldn't. He wanted to enter here and they said no he couldn't. They said ‘we have court injunction". What type of court injunction that allows somebody to enter into another person’s property, refuse him to remove his things and demolishing everything…What type of court injunction is that? We are finished in this country''
