A Nigerian man, Engr. Mohammed Amate, tragically collapsed and d!ed while playing golf on Monday, June 23, at the Zuma Golf Club, part of the Zuma Rock Resort near Zuma Rock in Niger State, just outside Abuja.
According to sources in the golf club, the deceased, who is the former Pioneer Director-General of the Nigerian Mining Cadastre Office, collapsed on the 17th hole while playing. Other golfers tried to revive him, but he was confirmed de@d at the scene.
