The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at about 1:05 p.m. while the victims were returning from their farm.
A 29-year-old man, Sylvester Ojuku, lost his life and another resident sustained injuries following an attack by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Mongadoso community, located in Karim Lamido Local Government Area.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at about 1:05 p.m. while the victims were returning from their farm.
According to reports, the attackers ambushed the victims, resulting in the d3ath of Ojuku and severe injury to one Skina Daniel, who sustained a gunshot wound to his left leg.
Upon receiving the distress call, a team of security personnel was swiftly deployed to the scene, but upon their arrival, the bandits had fled.
The victims were evacuated to a primary health care hospital, where Ojuku was confirmed d3ad, while Daniel is currently receiving treatment.
