A teenage girl who was discovered outdoors at night, has alleged that her aunt expelled her from the house for speaking the truth.

An 18-year-old from Uga, Anambra State named Chinenye Ezekwueme said her aunt, Ms. Ebere, asked her to leave her home because she didn't support an alleged false accusation she made against another woman.

According to the teen, she needed money for her Home Economics practicals and her aunt allegedly refused to help, so a friend's mother offered to give her the money. When her aunt found out, she allegedly reported to the police that the woman had kidnapped Chinenye.

Chinenye said that when she was questioned, she told the police the truth, and this angered her aunt, who then chased her out of the house.

When asked about her parents, she said she does not know her mother, and her father sent her to live with his elder sister because his new wife did not want her living with them. She added that she does not have her father's contact details.

The teen stated that she had no one to stay with and could not find her way back to her father.
