Muanaenye Chekwube Victor, a 24-year-old Nigerian man, has been arrested by the police.
The young man was exposed and taken into custody by police officers from Uli Divisional Headquarters for orchestrating the kidnapping of his friend.

According to the command, the investigation showed that the suspect organized the kidnapping and, with the help of his gang, obtained a ransom in the amount of five million three hundred thousand Naira before the victim was freed.
‘’The suspect during interrogation confessed to having planned the kidnapping plot by luring his friend to escort him to see another friend. Victor and his criminal gang allegedly abducted their friend and to avoid suspicion pretended to have been kidnapped by his criminal gang.''
The command further stated that the suspect is currently assisting the police by giving information that will aid in the capture of his co-conspirators and will be prosecuted once the investigation is complete.
