Avi Warshaviak, a 73-year-old Israeli national, has passed away in a hotel in the Garki area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to the security analyst, Zagazola Makama, the deceased suddenly developed health complications around 9:51 a.m. and was rushed to Asokoro General Hospital, where he was later confirmed d3ad.
The matter was reported by the hotel’s Chief Security Officer, Okorie Emmanuel, to the Garki Divisional Police Headquarters at about 11:23 a.m.
Following the report, officials visited both the hotel and the hospital, documented the scene, and transferred the corpse to the hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police sources say attempts are being made to get in touch with the Israeli Embassy in Nigeria for the required consular procedures.
