United States President, Donald Trump has threatened to send his former political ally, Elon Musk back to South Africa.

He also threatened to unleash the Department Of Government Efficiency, DOGE on the Tesla CEO while reigniting their rivalry.

Recal that Musk had until May, spearheaded the DOGE which focused on slashing fraud and waste in the country’s government spending.

Their relationship, however, went sour shortly after Musk exited the Trump’s administration.

The clashes between the duo had subsided until Monday when Musk restarted the face-off with a post on X that said those who campaigned on cutting spending but backed the president’s bill “should hang their heads in shame.”

The world’s richest man also threatened if the bill is passed, he will form the America Party the next day.

Reacting, Trump in a post on Truth Social on Monday night, stated that the billionaire “may get more subsidy than any human being in history, by far”, stressing that “without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa”.

According to Trump, “no more Rocket launches, Satellites, or Electric Car Production, and our Country would save a FORTUNE.

“Perhaps we should have DOGE take a good, hard, look at this? BIG MONEY TO BE SAVED!”
