Yesufu charged the coalition to incorporate women and youths in the decision making of the ADC.

Aisha Yesufu, the co-convener of the defunct BringBackOurGirls group has sent a warning message to the coalition.

She warned them against allowing the older generation to be only those making decisions in the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

According to Yesufu, the coalition must incorporate women and youths in the decision making of the ADC.

She issued the caution while sharing a photograph of the coalition’s meeting yesterday.

In the photograph, those sitting on the high table were imminent Nigerians of the older generation.

However, the activist advocated for the position of youth leader and women leader.

Yesterday, the coalition officially unveiled ADC as its political party.

During the meeting, former Senate President David Mark emerged as ADC’s Interim National Chairman.

However, Yesufu wrote: “Dear Coalition (ADC)

“Women leader and Youth leader positions cannot be what is reserved for women and youth.

“You see this table full of older generation men, cannot be the only ones allowed to make the decision as we go on! Women and Youth must be in the midst of decision-making and not as afterthought in the form of tokenism

“Dear Women and Youth

“This is the time for the numbers you have to be heard loud and clear.
JOIN!!!

“Be part of the leadership!
Be part of the delegates
Be part of floor members.
Overwhelm for good!
Bring in ideas from out of the box.”
