Bashir, in a post on X on Thursday, claimed that the development was happening for the first time in his life.
Bashir El-Rufai, son of former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai has reacted to the coalition formed under the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
According to him, the coalition provides a platform for a united Nigeria.
Bashir revealed this on X on Thursday, claiming that the development was happening for the first time in his life.
“I’m sensing a united Nigeria under the flag of the ADC. For the first time in my life as a Nigerian,” he said.
The statement comes after the opposition coalition on Wednesday formally adopted ADC as its official political platform for the 2027 elections in order to wrest power from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2027.
Recall that ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Mr Peter Obi of the Labour Party counterpart, former governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai and a former Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, were present at the event.
