Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Kaduna Zonal Directorate, have apprehended 33 individuals suspected of involvement in internet fraud.
Twenty-nine of the suspects were arrested on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 in Minna, Niger State, while the remaining four were arrested Wednesday, July 2, 2025 in Unguwan Mai Gero area of Kaduna State.
Their arrest followed credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.
Items recovered from them include 46 smartphones, two iPads, 11 laptops and one PlayStation.
They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
