The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has confirmed that he indeed owns a Rolls-Royce, stating clearly that the luxury car was not a gift from anyone.
Wike said this while replying to the former Governor of Rivers, Rotimi Amaechi, that he had a luxury car and the minister was corrupt on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme on Friday.
He also claimed that he is not from a poor background like Amaechi while explaining that he used a Mercedes-Benz when he was a student.
“I have a Rolls-Royce; nobody gave it to me; I bought it for myself. I didn’t come from the same background as Rotimi Amaechi. As a student, I was using a Mercedes-Benz. My father was the manager of so many companies. I come from a rich background but not too rich like the Dangotes.
