Leo Umana, the Executive Director of the Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service (AKIRS) has revealed how he keeps peace in his family.
According to him, he has never yelled at his wife or laid a hand on her.
Sharing photos of his wife in a Facebook post on Monday, July 7, Umana said he chooses to walk away no matter the provocation.
This, according to him, is not a sign of weakness but a way to maintain a peaceful home and teach his sons to behave well with women.
He wrote:
“Love is Peace! I have never told my wife, shut up. I can’t do that. I will not do it. I have never raised my hand on my wife. No matter what happens. I walk away. Not because I am weak. I avoid exchange of words. I will leave.
“Before I return, the storm will be calm, anger softened. I will be welcomed as if nothing happened. Foods served. The best way to teach your sons is to behave well with your wife. A peaceful home breeds love and prosperity.”
