In another unfortunate incident, suspected armed bandits killed a vigilante member in an attack on Kubule village near Babanna in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.
It was gathered that the assailants in large number, stormed the area at about 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, and opened fire on residents working on their farms.
Zagazola Makama posted on his X handle that one of the victims, identified as Tanko Isah, a member of local vigilante group was shot and killed during the assault.
Following the attack, security operatives from New-Bussa visited the scene and evacuated the victim’s body to the General Hospital in Babanna for autopsy.
