Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, along with his aides, has been celebrating his Supreme Court victory today, July 10.
The apex court this morning upheld his victory at the September 2024 state governorship election.
His closest rival and PDP guber candidate in the election, Asue Ighodalo, had gone to court to challenge the election on grounds that it was marred by malpractices and irregularities.
The Supreme Court, however, dismissed the petition stating that it lacked merit.
Governor Okpebholo and his aides took to his office to dance and sing praises to God for his victory.
