Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Gaise Baba, has claimed that the lead pastor of Davidic Generation Church, Lawrence Oyor has a ridiculous anointing.

Gaise Baba made the claim while speaking about the remix of his song ‘No Turning Back’ with pastor Lawrence Oyor.

Recall that the trending song ‘No Turning Back’ remix which was released in May 2025, has become an anthem on the internet, with many celebrities participating in the dance challenge.

However, speaking in an interview with the media personality, Chude Jideowon, Gaise Baba explained that Oyor anointing is refined with packaging, and not raw anointing.

Chude said; “Let’s talk about Lawrence Oyor, and why you went to him for the remix”.

Gaise Baba replied; “I didn’t go to him for the remix. Technically, he came to me for the remix. He loved the song and when we met he was like let’s do something about it, I was surprised.

“He has a dangerous and ridiculous anointing. He’s from an interesting heritage of deliverance ministry, and God has added wisdom to it. So now it is not raw anointing, It’s refined and packaging. There’s wisdom and excellence attached to his raw anointing, and that’s a dangerous combination”,
the singer explained.
