Admin Has Left The Group – Shehu Sani Reacts to Atiku’s Resignation From PDP

The former president blamed his exit from the former ruling party on the deviation from its founding principles.

 
Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has broken his silence following the resignation of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
 
According to him, the admin has left the group.
 
On July 16, 2025, Atiku handed his resignation letter to the PDP.
 
The letter was addressed to the PDP Chairman of his Ward, Jada 1 in Jada Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
 
The former president blamed his exit from the former ruling party on the deviation from its founding principles.
 
He alleged irreconcilable differences within the former ruling party.
 
However, Sani in a snide post on X said, “Waziri; When the Admin left the group.”

The former PDP presidential candidate is currently a key member of African Democratic Congress, ADC, opposition coalition.
 
There are indications that Atiku will contest the coalition’s presidential ticket ahead of the 2027 election.
