Kwankwaso Visits Daura To Mourn Ex-President Buhari (Video)

Buhari, who passed away in a London hospital on Sunday, July 13, 2025, was laid to rest in his hometown of Daura on Tuesday, July 15.

Former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, visited Daura today to offer his condolences to the family of the late former President, Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari, who passed away in a London hospital on Sunday, July 13, 2025, was laid to rest in his hometown of Daura on Tuesday, July 15.

Kwankwaso extended his heartfelt sympathies not only to the immediate family of the former President but also to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Daura, Umar Farouk Umar, and the former President’s nephew, Alhaji Mamman Daura.

Kwankwaso in a statement on X wrote: "I was in Daura today, to pay my condolence to the family of the late former President, Muhammadu Buhari. 

"I also extended my sympathies to HRH, the Emir of Daura, Umar Farouk Umar and the former President’s nephew, Alhaji Mamman Daura. 

"May the Almighty Allah grant him eternal rest."
