No fewer than 25 females, comprising married women and young girls, were abducted on Saturday night following a deadly invasion by armed bandits in Kwanar Na Uwa, located in the Tofa District of Bungudu Local Government Area, Zamfara State.

According to a post on Sunday by security analyst Bakatsine via X: “Yesterday night, bandits invaded Kwanar Na Uwa in Tofa District, Bungudu LGA, Zamfara.
"They abducted 25 females, both married women and young girls. This is a grave case of Gender-Based Violence, GBV, with high risk of sexual abuse,” the post read.
