The critic’s comment questioned Shamsuddeen’s “lust for power” and alleged shady dealings, triggering the outburst that has now gone viral.

Shamsuddeen Bala Mohammed, son of Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, lashed out in a profanity-laced rant on Twitter after a user accused him of corruption and abuse of power.

Posting on his official handle, @shamsudeen_bala, Shamsuddeen directed deeply offensive insults at one Malaika, the critic who accused him of using his father’s influence for personal gains.

“Are you sick in the head?!… If that’s the case, I allege your mother is a wh0re and you are a bastard child, and that also makes it true,” Shamsuddeen wrote in part.

The critic’s comment questioned Shamsuddeen’s “lust for power” and alleged shady dealings, triggering the outburst that has now gone viral.

Shamsuddeen’s aggressive behaviour has long strained his relationship with the public, the press, and reportedly, even his own family.

In a recent report, sources revealed how his impulsive actions escalated into a family crisis after the controversial arrest of Dr. Abubakar Ahmad, a lecturer who shared a video of Shamsuddeen dancing with his wife.

The incident reportedly exposed alleged land-grabbing, abuse of power, and shady contract awards tied to Shamsuddeen and the First Lady, as highlighted by activist Omoyele Sowore. Governor Bala Mohammed was quoted privately telling his son, “I have repeatedly warned you to stop being childish in your public conduct, but you don’t hear words.”

The controversy has sparked backlash within the governor’s extended family, with a relative, Mutawakkil Adamu Mohammed, stating, “Shamsu has scandalised our entire family.”
