Suleiman Aliyu Garga, Special Assistant on Content Creation to Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has passed away just three days after complaining of a severe toothache.
Garga took to Facebook on Thursday, July 17, 2025, urging people to pray to God against toothache.
“You should pray to God to save you from toothache even if it is for 1 minute Alaji. Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best disposer of affairs,” he wrote.
Garga was admitted at the Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital where he underwent a surgery.
It was gathered that the surgery site started bleeding and he passed away on Saturday, July 20, 24 hours after the procedure.
Garga was laid to rest at the Yolde Pate Muslim Cemetery in Yola on Sunday morning, July 20.
The burial followed the Sallah Raka’at prayers held at the Modibbo Zailani Mosque, Yola Town, in accordance with Islamic rites.
