Ebuka noted that the show made him discover his potential as a TV host.

Former participants of the Big Brother Naija reality show have confessed that the platform changed their lives.

The former housemates made the revelation in a sideline interview at the reality show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s birthday party in Lagos recently.

Ebuka noted that the show made him discover his potential as a TV host.

“It [BBNaija] definitely made me a TV presenter. I was never going to be doing this. It was not in my trajectory. I was a lawyer, and I was going to be practicing somewhere today. But I went into the Big Brother house and discovered that I have this thing about speaking. Without BBNaija, I wouldn’t have a career in television today,” he said.

On her part, actress Bisola Aiyeola said she knew she was going to be successful in the entertainment industry even without going on Big Brother Naija, but admitted that the reality show fast-tracked her success.

“Big Brother Naija escalated the success that I knew I was going to have either way, but the reality show took it like zillion steps faster to the top,” she said.

In a similar vein, actor and filmmaker Elozonam said, “Big Brother Naija elevated my brand. It gave my brand exposure.”

A former winner of the reality show, Mercy Eke, stated that Big Brother Naija changed her “whole existence.”

Eke said, “Big Brother Naija changed me, changed my brand, changed my whole existence. I think you can see it right here.”

Actor Gideon Okeke stated that without the reality show, he would have remained in the ghetto.

“Big Brother Naija brought me out to the world, now you know who I is. Otherwise, I would be in the ghetto,” he said.

TV host KimOprah said, “BBNaija is an amazing platform; it showcases you to the world. Honestly, you can only go up from there.”

Podcaster Adekunle said, “Big Brother gave me a platform and made millions of people know me.”

Another former winner, singer Laycon, said the reality show skyrocketed his music career.

“It took it [my career] off the roof,” he remarked.
