Taking to social media, Mzaga dismissed the rumours as baseless, reaffirming his commitment to peace and urging calm among residents.

Terhemen Mzaga Ber Gile, a notorious bandit kingpin known as “Fullfire,” operating in the Sankera axis of Benue State, has publicly dismissed rumours suggesting he is planning a retaliatory attack against the Ityuluv community or his brother, Judex, popularly known as “Chen Hobbo.”

Taking to social media, Mzaga dismissed the rumours as baseless, reaffirming his commitment to peace and urging calm among residents.

“I have no problem whatsoever with the people of Ityuluv or with my brother Judex,”
he wrote.

“It saddened me deeply when I heard that our fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters were losing sleep over false rumours of revenge.

“I am not going anywhere to fight or retaliate. Mo or hiin ga.”

The anxiety reportedly followed a recent vehicle-related incident, which Mzaga described as “an unfortunate accident.”

Expressing gratitude for surviving the ordeal, he added, “I trust that the same God who allowed it will bless me with a better one.”

In a reconciliatory gesture, Mzaga extended a hand of peace to his brother Judex, calling for unity in the face of external threats.

“Let us come together and focus on the real enemy, those who seek to divide and destroy the Tiv Nation,” he said.

Addressing perceived tensions over leadership roles, Mzaga signaled his readiness to step aside if it would promote unity and peace.

“If it’s about leadership, I am ready to surrender. I agree, he has won. I surrender, as long as there is respect for age and tradition,”
he affirmed.

He did not shy away from criticizing the role of divisive political actors in local conflicts.

According to him, such individuals often unable to secure even basic political positions manipulate youth rivalries for their own selfish gains.

“Our community in Torov has suffered long enough. These politicians can’t even win councillorship seats, yet they exploit our differences,”
he stated.

Calling on young people to reject violence, Mzaga challenged those stirring conflict to send their own children to the frontlines, while advocating for meaningful dialogue and mutual understanding.

“To the general public, I assure you: if you come to our youth meetings with peace in your heart, no harm will come to you. Misunderstandings come from lack of communication.

“We can only heal through talking and unity,”
he added.
