Davido Pays Touching Tribute to Late Son Ifeanyi 3 Years After His Tragic Death

Afrobeats star, David Adeleke aka Davido has remembered his late son, Ifeanyi.
 
After three years following his tragic death, he took to X to write a tribute for him.
 
The singer in a post on X, wrote: “Ifeanyi David Adedeji Adeleke RIP LEGEND !!”
 
Recall that Ifeanyi died on October 31, 2022, in a swimming pool accident at the family’s residence in Banana Island, Lagos.
 
The Lagos State Police had reported that Davido and Ifeanyi’s mother, Chioma Rowland, were not at home at the time of the accident.
 
The Lagos State Police Command confirmed the tragic event, stating that an autopsy revealed drowning as the cause of death.
 
Eight domestic workers were taken in for questioning, with two still being investigated to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
 
Following Ifeanyi’s death, numerous Nigerians and celebrities including notable figures, such as the Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, rapper Bia, Meek Mill, and soccer star Victor Moses, expressed their shock and extended their support and condolences to Davido and his family.
 
They described the pain of losing a child as a profound loss that no parent should endure.
 
Davido took a break from the public eye after the tragedy but later returned, releasing a new album titled “Timeless” in 2023.
 
The singer and his wife, Chioma, have since welcomed a set of twins born in the United States in the same year.
