Nigerian Afrobeats star, Ayra Starr has broken her silence following reports suggesting that she was barred from having a boyfriend or starting family during the period of her contract with Roc Nation.
A report claimed a clause in her recent five-year contract with Roc Nation barred her from having a boyfriend or starting a family during the duration of the contract.
Ayra Starr who recently signed a five-year management deal with Roc Nation, which is owned by American music executive Sean Carter, aka Jay-Z debunked the claim.
“Ayra Starr isn’t allowed to have a boyfriend or start a family during her five years contract with Roc Nation,” a podcaster claimed in a video making the rounds on X.
Reacting to the video, Ayra Starr wrote, “Does Ayra Starr know about this?”
The singer also reposted a tweet which reads, “Them lie on top your head for broad daylight,” confirming that the report was fake.
