Former Military Governor and Minister of Communications Laid to Rest (Photos)

Former Minister of Communications, Maj. Gen. Tanko Ayuba, who passed on two days ago at the age of 70, has been laid to rest.

 
Former Nigerian Military Governor and Minister of Communications, Major. Gen Tanko Ayuba, who passed away two days ago at the age of 70 over an undisclosed ailment at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi Araba, Lagos, has been laid to eternal rest in his hometown of Kebbi State.
 
 
Spotted at the burial ceremony includes; Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Deputy Governor Samaila Yombe, Nigerian Armed Forces representatives, Senator Mohammed Magoro, Cabinet members, state representatives, royal fathers and many Nigerian dignitaries.
 
 
Major General Tanko Ayuba who served as a Senator representing Kebbi South constituency in the Senate in 2007, is survived by his wife Mrs Ronke Ayuba, 8 children one of which is his daughter Mrs Rakiya Tanko Ayuba, the current Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Kebbi State and 8 grandchildren.
