VDM had carried out a series of investigations, speaking with people knowledgeable about the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.

Adura, brother of late singer, Mohbad has called out popular social commentator, VeryDarkMan (VDM).

This is as he alleged that the activist was paid N20m to manipulate public perception and clean up the image of Naira Marley and Sam Larry, both of whom faced heavy criticism after Mohbad’s death in 2023.

To back up his claim, Adura resurfaced an old video of VDM condemning Naira Marley for allegedly sending thugs to attack rapper Ruggedman.

At the time, VDM had also strongly criticized Naira Marley and Sam Larry for allegedly bullying Mohbad.

He wrote: “This same wnker wey once shout say Sam Larry & Naira Marley bullied Mohbad… Today, he don wash am clean, turn clout errand boy for the same people wey break my brother.”*

Adura went on to allege that VDM is now being funded to twist the story, questioning where the activist allegedly got “20 million” to influence people during his investigations.

He added: “@verydarkman where you see 20M wey you dey take lure people? From street judge to mumu messenger… See downgrade!!!”

Adura didn’t stop there. He mocked VDM’s followers and labeled the activist as a sellout.

“Darkmumu and his dondi followers don cast awon manipulator aiye!!”
