The Obidient Movement has urged Nigerians to prepare for the comeback of former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The movement said “Peter Obi is coming” while announcing the inauguration of Ward Coordinators in the Municipal Local Government Area by its Kano State chapter.
A statement by the movement’s National Coordinator, Yunusa Tanko, said the occasion was marked with the unveiling of the Peter Obi Prosperity Cap.
The statement said: “As the Obidient Movement continues to cascade down to the grassroots, the Kano State chapter has successfully inaugurated Ward Coordinators in the Municipal Local Government Area, one of the most strategic and influential LGAs in Kano State.
“The occasion was marked in grand style with the official unveiling of the ‘Peter Obi Prosperity Cap’ – symbolising the journey from consumption to production, and a collective stand against hunger, disdain, and the misappropriation of public funds.”
According to the statement, leaders from Jigawa and Katsina States joined their Kano counterparts in solidarity, pledging to take this new initiative back home and amplify the message across their states.
“The Prosperity Cap is a symbol for all Nigerians – a call to action for good governance, accountability, and a better future under Peter Obi’s leadership.
‘PETER OBI IS COMING. A New Nigeria is POssible,'” it added.
