A Nigerian man has raised alarm over the poor drainage planning on some sections of the newly constructed Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road.
The man took to social media to share a video of the poor drainage on the road.
"I'm on the coastal road and I don't know the reason why drainage has not been put in its right position here," he said while filming the site around Ogombo Road in Ajah, close to Landmark Estate Boulevard and behind Chartered House School.
He appealed to the relevant authorities to send engineers to assess and correct the situation, noting that this wasn’t the only section affected.
“This is not the only place we have this,” he added. “We have this on several parts of the road.”
