In what will come across as a really horrific development, a 59-year-old man has been nabbed in Cross River State for a truly gut-wrenching crime.
The man was nabbed for allegedly def!ling a 6-year-old girl in Nko community, Yakurr Local Government Area of Cross River State.
The incident happened on Wednesday morning, August 6, 2025.

"Eyo Opla Obeten, this 59 year old native of Nko community, Yakurr LGA, Cross River State, is at the centre of the restlessness in the community this morning.
"Local residents allegedly caught him def!ling a six year old female child - for very obvious reasons, the victim cannot be mentioned.
