Liar, You Tortured, Broke Sowore’s Hands – Deji Adeyanju Counters Police

Nigerian activist lawyer, Deji Adeyanju has challenged the Nigeria Police Force’s claim that former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore was not tortured while in custody.

Recall that Sowore, who is being investigated over alleged cyberstalking and forget was captured in a viral image having a bandaged arm.

But the police in a statement on Friday night denied torturing the activist, stating that the image was” mischievously presented to mislead the public and stir unwarranted outrage”.

Reacting, Adeyanju in a post on his official Facebook page, said the Force lied, insisting that Sowore was tortured in custody.

He wrote, “You are a liar. The Nigeria police headed by the illegal IGP Egbetokun, the most useless IG in the history of the NPF tortured SOWORE and broke his hands. And you will all pay for your crimes”.
