The wedding comes at a pivotal moment in Dele-Bashiru’s career, as he gears up for a bigger role at Lazio under new manager Maurizio Sarri.
The 23-year-old impressed the Italian tactician during pre-season, featuring in friendlies against Avellino and Fenerbahce, and is now being tipped for a breakout season.
Sarri, who has been publicly vocal about his admiration for the midfielder’s potential, told Pazzidifanta: “Dele-Bashiru is a very strong guy who, if he manages to learn a few moves, can give us a big hand. I have heard good things about him from professionals outside of Lazio. And I’m not talking about the Lazio environment, but about sporting directors from other clubs.
